The 350z-Tech.com thread - "You've been Spotted" cards ! has been around since the first post by LBSOHK at 08:19AM September 30, 2004. To quote the original post -
"Ok guys, here's an idea , to get some more members on this site.. "You've been spotted" cards were created , and they look like this ( they're standard business card size 3.5 X 2)
You can place them in windshields of Z's that you happen to see in parking lots, etc.
They will be distributed to you guys free of charge , just PM me your address and I will mail them out asap...
Also , if you're not planning to give them out - please do not ask for them , they are free to you , but somebody had to pay to have them made..."

Today, December 30, 2006 - the thread is composed of some 9 pages and 169 posts. Intrest still runs high and people still are asking for the cards because "In my area there
are a TON of 350Z's" and "I need more!". Having in the past requested .. several times without any success to get cards from Tech I decided to make my own. Turns out ..
it's not that hard.
* I have been putting out black and white copies of this (altered version with my ugly mug) for a good while now and I know for a fact that at least one of
our current members - 2003FittyZ - came to Tech because I left a card under his windshield wiper. No brag ... just the fact that a little piece of cardboard printed in black and white
did what it was supposed to do .. get new members for Tech.

| How to make your own "You've been Spotted" cards |
Step 1 : Go to Office Depot. Pick up a package of Avery 5871 - White Clean
Edge Business Cards.
Now, we all know that there are more DIY business cards out there then the Avery 5871, but these are easy to find and the company has software you can download for free. If you
have something else then I'm sure it will do just as well.

Step 2 : Go to the Avery site and download their Design Pro software (free). Install it and run it.

Step 3 :
JTS2005 supplied a ((large)) .jpg of a Tech's card, which I converted to a .tif file for used in Design Pro - "You've Been Spotted card". Grab it and paste
it into Design Pro for 350Z-Tech.com cards.
Right-click the link above and save it to your harddrive for use in the Design Pro program.

Step 4 : Print off what you need. The Desgin Pro even has a menu for adjusting the printer.
